Spooner Advocate- Springbrook Column, August 15, 2013

Hello there friends- I have a BIG problem with a little name.....FOX! Can I just whine a minute? I LOVE the fox, they are beautiful, I smile everytime I see the babies in the spring. However, he is taking too many of my animals to make me a happy farmer. So I am going to ask folks here some questions, what is a decent gun to have on the farm for overall needs- I am assuming a .22. Is there one brand/make better than another? Also any suggestion on live traps? What do you use for baiting a fox? A live chicken- which than will be tramatized for life? I know I need both, but to tell you the truth this is not a good time financially to be buying anything!I know there are some hunter/ trappers out there with a wealth of info so please call/text/email me.
