Spooner Advocate Column- Jan 31, 2012

How about all that snow that we have out there folks? I know there are a lot of people happy that we recieved the amount of snow that we did. There are those that wish that we would have received even more. I have to say it sure makes everything look so pretty. The trees by my place just look gorgous! I am happy that the local businesses that really depend on snow and ice are going to be able to make some much needed money. If you are out there fishing, snowmobiling please be careful and pay attention to what and who are around you.

Happy Birthday to all those January birthdays out there. I hope you have/ or had a beautiful birthday. You are special and we love you!
